Meant to post this earlier. This is a pic. of my finger after being kicked in an indoor soccer tournament this past winter. This was taken as I was driven to the hospital. Funny thing is that the person who drove to the hospital was the wife of the person who did this to me - she missed what happened and never realized it was her husband until I mentioned it around the same time this pic. was taken.

A pic. of some of the players on my summer ball hockey team in the dressing room after a game. We have a 35 years of age and over team in the league and are currently well ahead in 1st place. This pic. was taken after we destroyed the 2nd place team last nite by a 6-1 score. I will be adding more pics. of the team as well as some action photos in the next couple of weeks.

The NHL entry draft is this weekend and The beloved Boston Bruins have the fifth overall pick. This is The Bruin's 1st time ever picking 5th. However looking back over the draft's history there have been some superstars that were taken 5th overall. These include: Jaromir Jagr, Scott Stevens, Tom Barrasso and Bill Guerin. However, with all this in mind, The Bruins will need more than one player taken at #5 to turn around their team after such a dismall season last year - maybe they could make some trades for a couple of good players - I wonder if Joe Thornton and Sergi Samsonov are on the trade blocks - probably not because a team would have to be crazy to trade players of this caliber.

After being perfect in the conference finals "The Greek" is here to let you in on who will be this year's Stanley Cup Champions. Both teams can make a case for why I should take them. First, Carolina has had a better season and has alot more skill than Edmonton. Next, Edmonton has their whole team buying into each others role and are playing the perfect team game and displaying more heart. When it comes down to my decision, however, I have to go with the history of both teams. Edmonton has had success in the past with great Stanley Cup winning teams while Carolina used to be The Hartford Whalers (they still even have Glen Wesley for Christ sake). With these differences I would say that Carolina has as much as a chance to win The Cup this year as either Ontario team does in the next 50 years (zero - the same as J.J. going on a diet). Edmonton in 6. Please scroll down to the entry before this one for a great picture.
